Cyrano is a fun loving but distant little guy. He loves to play with other ferrets that he is well established with, but isn't always very friendly with new ferrets. He can be sweet but only for short times, then he prefers to hide. Things are changing lately though, we have started syringe feeding him a special diet to try to create a bond with him. It is actually working! He is starting to like attention even when he is not being fed. His best friend is Roxanne with whom he arrived and they spend a lot of time together and are a great pair.

Lisa and Steve are also the incoming sponsor for Roxanne's cages mate, Cyrano, as well as Wasabi and Sushi and is a special needs sponsor for Calaban. They love ferrets, but have lived in CA and Hawaii where they weren't allowed They now live in WA, but are unable to adopt or foster because their condo does not allow them, but they still wanted to help. Lisa is also volunteering for CFN. She is comfortable around all kinds of animals after volunteering as a zookeeper's assistant for 28 months at the Honolulu Zoo: kinkajous, tigers, spider monkeys, lemurs, sun bears, howler monkeys, gibbons were her charges.
